Students working at computerThe Center for Cyber Defense is in line with the University’s Mission and Vision of becoming the premier interdisciplinary-centered university in America. As the University’s Information Assurance Center, the Center for Cyber Defense will impact all facets of the University through its research and the solutions developed by the center. The interdisciplinary research activities preformed at the center will provide a vehicle for the university as a whole to remain on the cutting edge of Information Assurance Education, Research, and Technology.

The objective of the Center for Cyber Defense is to educate and prepare students at North Carolina A&T State University in an effort to equip them with the ability to serve the United States as Information Assurance professionals. The primary goal towards meeting this objective is to develop an integrated education and interdisciplinary research program in Information Assurance.
